General Questions

  • How do I get a monthly permit if I'm a new parker??

    Our parking facilities with monthly parking offer several ways to set up monthly parking. 

    1. Set up an account via our online registration using any major credit/debit card.  Follow the prompts to select the parking lot and purchase your monthly permit before the 1st of the month. Your permit will then be mailed to you.
      1. You will be given the option to purchase month to month or sign up for recurring payments. 
      2. Recurring payments will be processed on the 20th of each month and permits will be mailed by the 25th. 
    2. For parking facilities using cardkeys or automated vehicle identification devices (AVI or pucks) for access, you will be required to sign up for recurring payments and pay a onetime deposit fee, which will be refunded when you cancel your contract and return your device. 

    If your permit is being mailed, BE SURE to make your payment at least 7 days BEFORE the beginning of the month so that your permit is received by the 1st of the month.  If you purchase parking too late you can use your transaction receipt for 7 days from date of purchase. Contact our local office if you have any questions. 

  • How do I pay a violation?

    Violations can be paid in two ways:

    1. Online with a credit/debit card by clicking the violation link. You will need your violation number or your license plate number to search our database.
    2. Mail your ticket and payment to our local office – the ticket envelope is pre-addressed.  Make sure the violation number is included with your payment.

  • How long is my permit valid?

    Permits are valid from the 1st of the month that is printed on the permit until the last day of that month.  You will need to pay for and receive a new permit before the 1st of each month.  If you park using an expired monthly permit, you will be subject to a violation, towing or booting. 

  • Why was my car towed/booted?

    If a vehicle is parked on one of our parking facilities and has not paid the required fee, our signage clearly states that we may elect to ticket, tow or immobilize that vehicle.  Cars that have multiple unpaid tickets may be towed or booted when parked on any of our parking facilities at any time.  We comply with all city laws and ordinances regarding towing and booting.  

    If your car has been booted, please follow the instructions placed on your vehicle to have the boot removed.  If your car is not at the parking facility when you return, please call your local office for more information or you may call the towing company shown on the signs at our facility.  The numbers for the towing companies are listed below but are subject to change at any time. You will be responsible for paying the tow/booting fee along with all outstanding violations.

  • Can I rent all or a portion of your facility for my event? Wedding, fair, event staging, etc…

    Yes.  You may arrange for free or discounted parking for your guests, patrons, or business associates in advance by contacting your local office.  Advance payment may be required.

    Many of our surface parking lots have been used as locations for events such as musical entertainment, festivals, barbecues, promotional tents and displays, and others! Please contact your local office for scheduling and pricing information.  You may be required to sign an agreement, provide insurance coverage or comply with other requirements based on the type of event.

  • How do I get a monthly permit if I'm a regular/previous parker?

    To manage your current parking permit login to your account and click on “my profile” and click “manage permits”.

    1. Month to Month Parkers
      1. View Permit history: see past transactions and print receipts
      2. Renew permit: keep your same permit every month by renewing your permit
      3. Update payment details: update your credit card number or expiration
      4. Update your vehicle: driving a different car this week, update your permit profile
      5. Request cancelation: cancelations take up three days to review and process the refund
    2. Recurring Parkers
      1. Your next month’s payment will be processed on the 20th of each month and your new permit will be mailed out on the 25th.
      2. View Permit history: see past transactions and print receipts

  • Can I set up recurring payments to pay for my monthly parking?

    Yes, recurring payments are an option when purchasing any permit from our facility. Recurring payments are processed on the 20th of each month and permits will be mailed by the 25th of each month. 

  • How long is my permit valid?

    Permits are valid from the 1st of the month that is printed on the permit until the last day of that month.  You will need to pay for and receive a new permit before the 1st of each month.  If you park using an expired monthly permit, you will be subject to a violation, towing or booting. 

  • Can I use my permit to park during special events?

    Permits are usually valid during special events that occur on regular business days (M-F) during regular hours (6 am to 6 pm), excluding holidays. Permits may not be valid during non-business day hours, weekends or holidays.  If you have a question about a specific day or time, please contact our local office. 

  • When are your facilities open?

    Most of our surface parking lots are open 24 hours a day and 7 days a week. Some of our garages close at night. For more information visit our find parking page to search for information for a specific facility. 

  • I did not receive my new monthly parking permit for the current month?

    Recurring permits and months purchased early are mailed out by the 25th of each month. If you made your payment at least 7 days before the 1st of the month, please contact your local office immediately.  If you purchased your parking online you can use your transaction receipt for 7 days from date of purchase.  

    If you park without a valid permit, your vehicle is subject to ticketing, towing or booting.

  • How do I redeem my refund receipt from the pay machine?

    Our pay machines are not able to give cash refunds. If you do not have exact change and choose to over pay with cash the machine will issue a refund receipt. To redeem the refund you must mail in your receipt with a self addressed envelope or visit your local office in person.

  • My cardkey, puck or AVI device is not working?

    If you made your payment at least 2 business days before the 1st of the month, please contact your local office immediately.  
    If you did not make your payment on time, your keycard or AVI device may have been deactivated.  If you wish to reactivate, please contact our local office.  A reactivation fee may be due.
    Be advised that you are responsible for paying the daily parking fee until your access is reactivated.

  • How do I use my mobile phone to pay for parking?

    We utilize the parking app, Passport Parking for mobile payments in all our cities. This app is available for download on IOS and android devices. For more information please visit this site.

    Each location should have their ID number cleary marked on signs near each paystation. 

    What costs are associated with PassportParking Mobile Pay?
    Registering with PassportParking Mobile Pay is free of charge. Usual parking rates still apply, along with a .35 cents convenience fee charged to your credit or debit card.

    Is it safe to do a credit card transaction over the phone?
    Yes. Your credit card number is encrypted when you sign up and is never entered, displayed, or spoken during a transaction.

    Do I get a receipt?
    Yes. All transactions can be viewed by logging into you PassportParking Mobile Pay account. You also have the ability to receive receipts via email or simply printing directly from your account.

    How does the Parking Enforcement know that I have paid through PassportParking Mobile Pay?
    When you make your payment with PassportParking Mobile Pay, the zone and space information you enter is sent to the location host system and registered immediately.

  • I do not want to pay online for my parking.

    That is fine.  You may pay for your parking by:

    • Visiting our local office to pay in person
    • Mailing your payment to your local office with the lot number you wish to purchase and a pre-paid self-addressed envelope. 
    • Calling our office to pay using any major credit/debit card.

  • How do I pay a violation?

  • How do I dispute a violation?

    To dispute a violation please click on the violation link in the header to visit our violation system. You will need your violation number or license plate number. There you can add evidence to dispute your violation or choose to pay your violation. 

  • Why are there different prices on my violation?

    If your violation is paid within 7 days we offer a discount but the longer you wait to pay your violation the more it will cost.

  • Why was my car towed/booted?
